Prior legal experience is not essential, but you will need to have already developed a good existing level of understanding of EU competition policy, including the current rules and procedures under which DG Competition operates and inter-acts with companies under investigation, with other relevant third parties, with other Directorates within the European Commission, with the relevant authorities in the EU Member States and with the European Parliament.
As an Account Manager, your role will be to help manage clients and cases on a day-to-day basis, with input and assistance from others on the team. Some clients may require assistance not only on competition-related matters but also on how these can inter-act with other areas of EU policy, such as digital policy, industrial, environmental and transport policy, financial services policy, or media policy, among others. Knowledge and experience of other EU policy areas would therefore be a plus.

As an Account Executive, your role will be to help manage clients and cases on a day-to-day basis.
