Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Surgery (Ref.: 502309), to commence as soon as possible for two years.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree with proven experience in molecular genetics, next generation sequencing and animal model. They should be outstanding and self-motivated researchers with a research track record in molecular and cancer biology. Experience in clinical studies and grant applications, particularly collaboration grants with mainland China, is an advantage. Fluency in English is expected. Proficiency in Cantonese and Putonghua is preferred.
The appointee will work independently and be involved in various projects related to breast cancer biology. He/She will assist in laboratory research activities and will have the opportunity to work with collaborating divisions/centres in HKU and in HKU-Shenzhen Hospital.
