The 3 expected candidate application rounds for individual scholarships are:
Round 1: 3 February-23 March 2021 (for courses starting between between 26 July and 21 November 2021)

Applications may be submitted at any time; there are, however, specific timelines which are detailed here
Scholarship Value
International students receive a monthly base amount of EUR 830 in a Bachelor’s, Diplom, Magister or state examination programme or EUR 850 in a Master’s course. In addition, costs for health insurance are funded and scholars with a child receive a family allowance of EUR 276. The scholarship does not have to be repaid.
NCTU International Scholarships 2021-22 in #Taiwan
Application Period
For new students, the application is open during the following intake (admission application period):
Fall Intake: December 20 – March 5
Spring Intake: August 10 – September 30
A. Amount:
(1) Undergraduate students: up to NT$21,000 (US$700) per month and/or tuition waiver.
(2) Master’s students: up to NT$22,000 (US$733) per month and/or tuition waiver.
(3) Doctoral students: up to NT$29,000 (US$966) per month and/or tuition waiver.
B. Duration: Up to 1 year
C. Renewal: At the end of the first award year, students may apply for NCTU International Scholarships
for outstanding current students. Award includes monthly stipends (up to NT$21,000 (US$700)/22,000(US$733)/29,000(US$966) for undergraduate/master’s/doctoral students) and/or
tuition waiver. The scholarships for current students are awarded for a 1 academic year period in principle and may be reapplied and reviewed regularly based on applicants’ academic performance and research records and subject to a maximum number of years.

Remuneration
Interns receive a monthly allowance of 550 euros (Lyon), which is adjusted for different duty stations and is prorated according to the number of days worked.
Costs
All costs related to the recruitment process and subsequent travel, insurance, accommodation, and living expenses must be borne by the intern.

Value
Doctor of Philosophy – NZ$27,000 stipend per annum plus a domestic tuition fees waiver for 36 months (excludes student services fee and insurance) Professional Doctorates (DClinDent, DMA, DBA, EDd) – NZ$27,000 stipend per annum plus a tuition fee waiver for up to 36 months capped at the domestic rate (excludes student services fee and insurance).

You can still apply for research sponsorship in Germany even if you are already well advanced in your academic career. The Georg Forster Research Fellowship for experienced researchers enables you to conduct research in Germany. The monthly fellowship amount is €3,170. Fellowships may last from 6 to 18 months and can be divided into up to three stays within three years.

When can I apply?
There are four application periods:

The May intake is the main period, where admission takes place for most programmes. In other periods, the admission is open only for a limited number of programmes. Admission is announced on the programme website.
